I wanted to be able to link to the geocaching.com website for caches automatically depending on the categorization of a post.

Each post that has to do with geocaching already had the geocache names (e.g. GCHZVF or GCRHWQ) associated with them in the Geocaching category.

So - I decided to create a module to do the work for me.

What exactly does the module do?

Well - when a post is displayed on its own page then it will append to the end of the post a small block - entitied Geocaches and with links to the geocaching.com site. The link title will always include the cache name - and - if the taxonomy term has a description then that will also be shown.

The user can choose via the admin/settings/geocaching form which vocabulary to use - and can change the URL prefix that will be used if they wish to point at some other service.

It will also translate the filter [GCXXXX] into a clickable link to the cache given that the cache is present in the geocaching taxonomy
