Long weekend trip down to the hut in Halden
Elizabeth was very pleased with the sandpit that morfar had built for her.

Sangefjellet
A trip up to Sangefjellet (up to the radio mast on Sangenuten although only Rolf jr made it to the very top, then round the back of Veslesanget and down to Åsgaard).
Rod and Astrid took Elizabeth on a pram trip to the open air cathedral and back.
Coffee round a camp fire
The sun returned today. We took a trip (Rolf, Elin, Rod, Astrid, Chris, Elizabeth, John, Jan) along the valley and found a nice place to sit. Collected some wood, and lit a camp fire where Rolf brewed coffee.
Elizabeth came on the trip - her first time out with us on ski's, her first time travelling in a "pulk" (a small sledge for small children that an adult pulls on a harness), and Chris' first time pulling one.
When we got back to the hut Elizabeth played with the snow and her bucket and spade before Farmor and Farfar built her a slide in the snow. After some sliding (and sledging) farfar built a snowman.
More snow
Not so good weather today - more snow. Hopefully it will be better tomorrow.
Elizabeth received a Po to go with Tinky-Winky, Dipsy and La-La from Grandpa.
Sun comes back again. Catherine arrives.
Elizabeth got a La-La from Grandpa to go with Tinky-Winky and Dipsy.
Rod, Rolf, Rolf (jr), John and Chris took a ski-trip to the ski-track crossroads (just over 5 km from the hut). Elin met the group on the way back and she and Rolf then headed to the crossroads while the others headed home.
Rolf (jr) and Chris each took a short trip up on Sangefjell during the afternoon.
Rolf (jr) collected Catherine in the evening - bringing the number of people in the hut up to 8.
A trip to Ål
Rod, Rolf and Chris took a trip to Ål in the morning. Shopping and a visit to the Kulturhuset.
Snow came again during the afternoon, evening.
Elizabeth wanted to play outside - and so had a short time with her bucket and spade (see pics) before a short trip in her pram.
The sun arrives :)
After the snowy weather up to now - today the sun came out.
We took a longer trip (about 5.5 km) from the hut onto the track that leads towards Nyseth and back.
Elizabeth received Dipsy to go with Tinky Winky from Grandpa.
Oslo -> Ål (Hallingdal) plus the first full day
We left Oslo at about 12:30 on Saturday. A long drive up to the mountain hut with lots of traffic and pretty bad weather.
Arrived at the hut at about 17:00. Rolf and Elin had dinner waiting. Up here the weather is snowing.
Sunday - still more snow. And more snow. Rod gave Elizabeth a cuddly Tinky-Winky toy :)
Rod, Rolf and Chris took a short ski-trip to start the season during the afternoon - a nice run, although it was still snowing :)
Some pics of Elizabeth attached:
Elizabeth had her first christmas in the UK this year.
As well as it being the first UK christmas - she also learned to climb stairs (right at the end of the year). Now we hope she'll learn to come down them too :)
